Romantic elegance oozed out of every corner of Jenny & David’s beautiful Hertfordshire wedding – one of our favourite weddings this year. Inspired by the stunning gardens surrounding the groom’s family home, we worked alongside the incredibly talented Snapdragon team to create a relaxed and stylish atmosphere for the couple and their guests to enjoy this most special of days.
The ceremony took place at St John the Baptiste – a pretty little church in nearby Aldbury. Welcoming the guests, a sumptuous, loose arch of white dahlias, roses, hydrangeas, phlox, veronica, snowberries, lisianthus, jasmine, and wild country greenery surrounded the entrance.
For the reception, we scattered rose petals around hurricane lamps and floated white dahlias and candles in the stunning water feature of the main marquee. Pink and white roses, hydrangeas, lysianthus, phlox, spray roses, and delphiniums were used for the table centrepieces, the marquee’s pillars, and for the two vast pedestal arrangements – each one over ten feet high.
