On what was the stormiest day of 2020, Alex and Russell were married at an intimate ceremony at Hampton Court House – a gorgeous venue with roaring fires and a unique relaxed grandeur.
We wove personal memories for the couple into all the designs and included as many spring woodland flowers and foliages as we could to reflect the surrounding Royal parkland just outside the windows where the couple walk their beloved dog. White muscari bulbs used on the tables have since been planted in their garden to remind them each year of their wedding day. As a child, Alex and her mother grew sweet peas together so when we spotted some unusually early blooms at the flower market we agreed it seemed like fate and gathered them in a frilly bunch for her wedding bouquet.
For the couple, their wedding wouldn’t be complete without live music and dancing and they wanted a statement chandelier of foliages to dress the fabulous conservatory where all the action would happen. A 6ft wide hoop filled with eucalyptus, ivy and fern varieties created a wild canopy above the top table and later became a focal point over the dancefloor. This was a wedding full of love and emotion and we were honoured to play our part.
