We were thrilled to be invited again to design planted installations and flower displays for Focus/23 at the Chelsea Design Centre – a week long design show bringing together a line-up of world-class brands, makers and creatives.
We included 150 beautiful perennial plants in a sculptured, container garden inspired entrance design, and all the arrangements for the indoor spaces were foam free, English flower filled displays. The result was a joyful, late summer burst, combining our passion for plants and flowers. Following the show all of the plants were donated to the charity project St Mungos – Putting Down Roots – an initiative we support as often as we can. Putting Down Roots is a horticultural therapy and training program, using gardening as a tool to support people in their recovery from homelessness by building their confidence and learning new skills. This event really played to our love of combining plants and flowers in our designs, demonstrating that sustainable design can be striking and beautiful without compromise
