The Roden Centre for Creative Learning at the National Gallery opened to the public in February 2025 – a space where everyone can start a lifelong journey with creativity by finding ways to connect with great paintings from the past.
We were delighted to create fresh and seasonal spring displays to celebrate the launch, choosing a playful, pastel colour palette with pops of hot colour woven through for a contemporary, youthful twist. Slim vases evocative of crayons or coloured chalks were hand painted by our team to pick up on the blocks of inspiring colour in the centre.
For the celebratory dinner in the Gallery, we filled contemporary ceramic bowls with our favourite flowers of the season including tulips, ranunculus, frittilaria, anemones, hellebores and poppies. Vibrant yet refined – a true celebration of the joy of colour and the changing seasons.
