We loved conjuring up designs for this special event at the Garden Museum. The brief was contemporary and elevated yet pared back, and for our designs we chose graceful flowers in luminous shades, evocative of crisp spring days and giving them room to breathe.

Smooth ceramic vessels were filled with layers of ruffled roses, hyacinths and ranunculus alongside tall slim vases with the dancing stems of nerines, French tulips and poppies.

Our mechanics for this event were all floral foam free. Look closely and you can see some interesting ways of anchoring stems in shallow bowls!
