We design for TV and film premieres often, but this was something altogether different for our studio!

For the release of Sky TVs Mary & George we were commissioned to design and create a majestic floral swan to watch over the afterparty from a gilt pedestal in the centre of a huge circular bar.

The setting was the glittering ballroom at Raffles London at The OWO which was also filled with gilt urns filled with flowers and food stations festooned with candelabra and roses – more on that to follow soon!

Working with metal artist Julian Carter we meticulously studied the anatomy of these beautiful regal birds to fabricate a steel swan with a wingspan of 3 metres which we then covered fully in an intricate tapestry of leaves, grasses and layers of pure white fresh flowers. 

The detail that went into this design was incredible, with every single fragile element carefully placed.

An absolute treat of a commission for our team!
